Small plane crashes in Camarillo; minor injuries reported - m.vcstar.com | A single-engine racing plane crash-landed in a field south of the Camarillo Airport this afternoon before plowing into a hoop house where strawberries are grown.  The pilot of the aircraft, which is registered in France, suffered a minor wound to his left leg, said Dan Preston, a captain with the Ventura County Fire Department. The pilot was taken to a hospital for evaluation.  Preston said the aircraft had been at the Camarillo Airport for about three days for practice on takeoffs and landings. About 3:50 p.m. today, authorities received a call that the plane, a Nemesis NXT, was going down....
