Michelle Kole's Epic Spin from AcroCamp
Here's a sample of some of the great footage that we captured with one of the outboard cameras. This is a GoPro HD Hero mounted on the right wing strut of the Super-D and pointed more or less straight at Michelle.
Michelle pulled off a great seven- or eight-turn spin. Nice and stable (you can watch where the horizon intersects the frame). This angle gives a real sense of the world rotating.

From Roadrunners Internationale
42 years ago last Friday we lost a very important member of the Roadrunners. Jack gave his life for this country that we love so dearly. I was unable to put the wreath out on Friday because Article 132 was outside for a dinner for Airbus. Today is Monday 06/07/10, Article 132 is back inside with Jacks story for all to see. Jack may be gone now but his legacy is still as strong as it ever was. As long as I am the keeper of Article 132 he and the others that have followed will always be in the forefront so that the public will know what the Roadrunners stood for.

In behalf of Roadrunners Internationale I commend Mike Thompson, Director Bill Tunnell, Owen Miller and all the rest of the staff and volunteers of the Battleship Memorial Park - Mobile, Alabama for their continued remembrance of former CIA A-12 pilot Jack W. Weeks who gave his life during Operation Blackshield. We also commend the museum for its out front preservation of the legacy of all of us who participated in Project Oxcart at Groom Lake, Nevada and Kadena, Okinawa during the operational phase of Project Oxcart. The management and staff of the Battleship Memorial Park have gone to great links to include in their efforts the legacy of all our nation's secret heroes, the men and women who built and flew the magnificent A-12 in their care:

Honorary GWW Spokespeople, Mike and Donna from Life on the Road as a Pilot
If you look very carefully, can you see what's in this guy's back pocket? Well, there's a reason for that...
In an earlier post, I spoke of being a Girls With Wings crew member and mentioned a couple of members of my Canadian fan club who were doing such a great job promoting GWW on their travels.
