Military Aircraft to be Featured at Indianapolis Air Show - 93.1 WIBC Indianapolis
Thousands of people are expected to attend the Indianapolis Air Show is set for this weekend.
The 14th annual air show,set for June 11-13 at Mount Comfort Airport, raises money for children’s charities through the Central Indiana Community Foundation.
Among the main attractions at the is the Horsemen aerobatic team, the world’s only team that flies three authentic P-51 Mustang fighter planes that served in World War II and changed the course of history.
Additional military performers include the United States Air Force A-10 – the “Thunderbolt II” – and the United States Navy F/A-18E/F, also known as the “Super Hornets.”
Active duty members of the U.S. military may attend the air show for free by showing their military ID.
