Come join us Saturday, May 7th for our Living History Day featuring "WWI: The Air War". We will have 5 Guest Speakers moderated by historian J.R. Williams, Premier a WWI Documentary, host WWI Re-enactors and give members a  chance to win a ride in a Stearman bi-plane! This is a Saturday event that you DON'T want to miss!
Be the first to see the WWI documentary film "The Millionaires Unit" presented by co-producers Ron King and Darroch Greer. This will be the film's California debut and is a celebration of the Centennial of Naval Aviation.
Javier Arango, Director of the Aeroplane Collection and Board Member of the Smithsonian Institution Air & Space Museum will share his personal experience as a test pilot, flights, research and the restoration of these antique aircraft.
Lance Bronnenkant, VP "League of WWI Aviation Historians" will use multiple contemporaneous sources such as interviews, articles and family correspondence to dive into the characteristics and personality of Oswald Boelcke, the father of fighter pilot aviation and mentor of Manfred von Richhofen (The Red Baron)

In addition to the speakers we will have WWI re-enactors courtesy of the "Great War Historical Society" and Jack Herris, acclaimed WWI Aviation author of Aircraft of World War I: 1914-1918 (Essential Aircraft Identification Guide). Signed copies will be available in our giftshop.
