Sikorsky, founder of the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, was delivered by his son, Sergei Sikorsky, during a toast at the 2011 Robert J. Collier Trophy Presentation Banquet on May 5, 2011. It epitomizes what makes aviation great: an unrelenting desire for and amazing track record of innovation.  The 2010 Collier Trophy was awarded this year to the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and the X2 Technology Demonstrator Team.  This marked the third time the name Sikorsky has been a part of receiving this honor.
