Neosho hosts benefit for Kyle and Amanda Franklin - Neosho, Mo. —  In a show of community camaraderie, an estimated 500 people turned out to support aviators Kyle and Amanda Franklin Saturday morning at Neosho’s Hugh Robinson Memorial Airport.  The Franklin Fundraiser pulled in $20,186 to go toward medical expenses for the couple who were burned when their engine caught fire over the Air Fiesta 2011 at the Brownsville-South Padre Island International Airport on March 12. Kyle was in the cockpit and was burned as he tried to help his wife. Amanda was on the wing when the fire started and worked her way toward the cockpit before a short landing. She took third-degree burns to 70 percent of her body and remains in critical condition in a San Antonio hospital…
