The TP-40N  from Moose Peterson Aviation Photography | This is one gorgeous plane! This is an original TP-40N. There were something like only 40 TP-40N produced, the T standing for Trainer. This is an original, not modified twin seat TP-40 and that makes it very special. Now if it had growling teeth and a big on on the front cowling you might recognize it better. The P-40 Warhawk is what the Flying Tigers flew in China prior to WWII, this being the plane they would have trained in prior to shipping out…

Summer Break is Here...  from SLICK Aviation: Night Shift by SLICK ...and it's time for some updates! Aviation in Art — Courtney Canova’s mural in DeLand FL  from Travel for Aircraft - DeLand is a small artistic town near Daytona in Florida. This town is full of art, quaint boutique shops of food and sundries, as well as restored buildings from the first half of the 20th century — but the murals painted on the sides of the buildings are noticed first. These are no simple murals since they are full of details as they portray either culture or vignettes of life in DeLand’s past as well as present. This mural is on the south face of the building located on the NW corner of US 92 and W New York Avenue in DeLand FL….
