The next reading will be this Saturday, January 24 at 11a.m. Each program includes a short tour, a children's aviation book reading, and a flight-related art project. Space is limited and the program is only for pre-school students ages 3-5. Hope to see you there!! Tuskegee Airmen – Red Tails! Saturday February 7, 11a.m. Les Williams is one of the original Tuskegee Airmen, a group of pioneering black fighter pilots of the 99th Pursuit Squadron, later incorporated into the 332nd Fighter Group. The Tuskegee Airmen were trained at the Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama and flew and fought during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Meet this great airman Saturday February 7, 2009 at 11:00am at the Hiller Aviation Museum . Also on display now through this event is the P-51A Mustang "Polar Bear", similar to the fighter aircraft flown by the 332nd on combat missions over Europe during World War II.
