Lunken Airport Aviation Days this weekend !
Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27th
10:00- 4:00 Daily FREE OPEN HOUSE !

On both Saturday and Sunday the ramp will be open to the public with lots of airplanes ( corporate jets to antique warbirds ), displays, lectures, special aviation book sale, lectures and exhibits, talk to pilots ………….all FREE !

Airplane and Helicopter Rides – only $40 each. Book signings by Herb Heilbrun and John Leahr -- “ Black and White Airmen” Their True History Sarah Rickman on Sunday – book signings – she has written several books about the WASP ( Women Air Service Pilots )

Saturday and Sunday – the Midwest Formation Fly IN will be taking place. The Warbird Pilots will be flying out of Lunken for the Missing Man tribute to Matt Maupin , who’s funeral will be held at the Great American Ballpark on Sunday at 1:00. You can see them launch from the ramp.

People wishing to sign a Remembrance Book for Matt’s family – please come to the airport behind the terminal. The Remembrance Book will then be flown over the funeral service at the Stadium on Sunday.

FREE HOT DOGS from John Morrell beginning at 11:00 and FREE drinks sponsored by Krogers . Free parking on Airport Rd. or at 262 Wilmer in the new lot across from the terminal.
