AirRace21 On this day in 2001, four flights took to the air. Those flights rained down sadness the world over. They changed the life of every American, of every world citizen. Today, after so much hard work, Race 21 will take to the air, flying from Concord, California, to Reno, Nevada for the Reno Air Races.
