The first annual convention and fly-in for EAA members in Canada launches this weekend, Friday through Sunday, at the Ottawa/Gatineau Airport. Another great afternoon at Seething, one of my local airfields. I’ve been to quite a few large events that have all the latest flying hardware but the smaller events are more fun and have a little of the home-made appeal about them. It was a charity event, the money going to the East Anglian Air Ambulance which is completely non-government funded. It’s also a great day for me to practice my photography. I bought a long lens but some people have kit that could looks like it could photograph the dust on the pilots goggles from a mile away. One of my lucky shots is below.
