LiveAirShowTV Announces 2010 Broadcast Season

JANUARY 4TH – PFLUGERVILLE, TX -- After a very successful International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) convention in Las Vegas in December, LiveAirShowTV announces part of their broadcast plans for the 2010 air show season. “The shows listed below have agreed to be part of our broadcast season,” says LiveAirShowTV President Jeff Lee. “This is by no means a complete list and it will continue to grow to a full season of air shows.”

“Our goal is to broadcast at least one aviation event every month of the 2010 air show season”, says LiveAirShowTV Co-Founder Ken Perich. “We’re in discussions with some of the biggest events in the country, and as soon as the show is ready to make the announcement, we’ll put it on our official schedule.”

As we kick off 2010, LiveAirShowTV is proud to announce these three air shows.

Barksdale AFB – Defenders of Liberty Air Show – This was our broadcast premiere in 2009 on Mother’s Day weekend. The Canadian Snowbirds and U.S. Navy Blue Angels headlined the show to a huge crowd in Shreveport, LA. In 2010, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds return to Barksdale on April 24th and 25th. “We’re looking forward to being back at Barksdale. It’s a great early season show”, says Lee.

Indianapolis Air Show – One of Indy’s best community events, and benefits many local charities in the central Indiana area. This show has been a pioneer of Internet broadcasting and media involvement through the efforts of Chairman Roger Bishop. “We have watched what Jeff and his team have done at other air shows around the country, and we want to bring that to our show,” says Bishop. The Indy Air Show takes off June 11th, 12th and 13th, 2010.

The Reno National Championship Air Races – The air races are the highlight of many air show fans’ season. LiveAirShowTV broadcast pioneered first-time-ever LIVE Internet coverage the finals in 2009 with great success. The 48th running of the races will be another subscription/PPV event, and coverage will be expanded, and value increased tremendously. After discussions with race management, additional cameras and other production elements will be added to increase the race fans’ broadcast experience.

Thanks in part to the groundbreaking efforts of LiveAirShowTV, Live Internet broadcasting of air shows and aviation events is being recognized as a new outlet for existing sponsors for these shows, as a way to increase their reach and value of their sponsorship. “It is becoming very obvious to show organizers that what LiveAirShowTV is doing is something that reaches farther than a fence banner or program ad. These events take sponsor advertising all around the world and lasts much longer than the 2-day air show,” says Lee.
