Thunderbirds Return to Air Show in 2010

11th Annual show will fly over Lake Michigan in July

Gary, IN – Gary’s South Shore Air Show will again return to Marquette Park for a high-energy, free show on Saturday, July 10th and Sunday, July 11th. The USAF Thunderbirds will headline at the 11th Annual Air Show bringing the nation’s premier demonstration squadron to the beaches of Lake Michigan.  The USAF squadron will “wow” the crowd with precision aerial maneuvers that exhibit the capabilities of modern high-performance aircraft.

            The 2010 show will also feature crowd favorites such as the US Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the Lima Lima Flight Team, Dacy-Kazian Wingwalking Team, Lucas Oil Pitts, Bill Stein and more! Aerial acts are subject to change and will be updated regularly on the website, www.garyairshow.com.

            The South Shore Air Show remains the largest FREE event in Northwest Indiana and offers free parking and free shuttle service as well. Optional paid parking is available just steps from show center on the beach. A variety of food vendors, a beer garden and interactive military displays will be on the grounds at Marquette Park in Gary.
