Come see a real "Top Gun" jet fighter. This unique fighter is coming all the way from the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (formerly known as the "Top Gun" school) at NAS Fallon, NV. NSAWC is the primary authority on aggressive training and tactics development that provides training, assessments, and recommendations to new F-18 fighter pilots for the U.S. Built by Northrop, the F-5E Tiger II was an improved version of the F-5A/B Freedom Fighter used by the U.S.A.F. that was intended as a new light fighter aircraft that could be both exported to American allies or put on the international market. Its first flight was on August 11, 1972 and instantly become a huge hit on the export market.
