Join us to meet Aviation Record Setters of 2010 and learn the winner of the 2010 Collier Trophy* as it is announced for the first time. NAA will recognize the Most Memorable Aviation Records of 2010 including: - 82 year old Arnold Ebneter who set a 2,327 mile distance record in a airplane he personally designed and built.
- Christopher Kelleher and the Qinetiq HALE team that remotely piloted an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle to an absolute record for duration of 14 days, 22 minutes.
- Thunder Mustang pilot John Parker who smashed a 35 year old speed record flying over a 100 kilometer closed course.
- James Dexter who piloted a new technology Zeppelin airship 441 miles non-stop along the California coast setting a new gas airship distance record.
- Four USAF B-1 Bomber pilots who set a new time to climb record besting the 1993 record by more than 9 minutes.
- 41 women skydivers who formed together in a head-down formation, done previous by a maximum of 20 women.
- Douglas Cairns who spent 5 days, 15 hours and 16 minutes in his Beechcraft Baron 58 visiting all 50 states and District of Columbia 8 days fasters than the previous record.
*The winner of the 2010 Collier Trophy will be chosen on March 14 by an esteemed Selection Committee that includes three former Collier winners: Neil Armtstrong, Dick Rutan and Richard Truly as well as other leaders of the aviation and aerospace industry.
