Huge Russian jet lands at Fairbanks airport - FAIRBANKS - Burnie Hall has seen a few airplanes in his time, but nothing quite like the Antonov AN-225 that touched down in Fairbanks on Tuesday. Hall, the owner of the local ground support company Omni Logistics, craned his neck to look up at the monstrous Ukrainian cargo plane as it came to a halt near the south passenger terminal at Fairbanks International Airport.

Airport hosts restored WW2 craft Neosho, Mo. — Neosho hosted more than a few guests this weekend, as the Devil Dog, a restored PBJ-1J or Marine Corps version of a B-25, sat out some weather here. This morning, the plane took off into light blowing snow and a crosswind, but the group was eager to get home. The plane flew to Oshkosh in late July for the air show there. The right engine had just been replaced. They flew in the show, but as they got ready to fly back to Georgetown, Texas, the left engine's blower gave out.

Ride Along as Pacific Prowler Heads to Doolittle Reunion From Alabama Aviator - Aviation News | Fort Worth TX- -The Pacific Prowler, a well kept TB-25N, will be attending what may be the last Doolittle Reunion commemorating the historic attack on Japan by B-25 Mitchells launched from the Deck of the USS Hornet. The Reunion will take place over the weekend of April 17-18 in Dayton, OH at the National Museum of the Air Force (NationalMuseum.af.mil/).  Along with the Prowler, nearly 25 B-25's have been invited to attend (NationalMuseum.af.mil/doolittle.asp).
