NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 27, 2010)-During a press conference held this afternoon at EAA AirVenture 2010, in Oshkosh, WI, Stephan Brown, President and CEO of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), and CAF National Spokesmanand platinum-selling country artist Aaron Tippin,announced the launch of the CAF's Red, White & Loud Tour celebrating America's freedom through song and the return of the world's most famous war bird, the Boeing B-29 Superfortress, FIFI.
CAF's Red White & Loud Tour (Starring Aaron Tippin and the B-29 FIFI) is slated to canvass the nation. Tippin and FIFI will first touch down in Denver at the Colorado Sport International Air Show on August 28, 2010 at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. FIFI will arrive with Tippin onboard and once qualified, Aaron will co-pilot the heavy bomber to each and every performance destination.
Audiences will enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Tippin perform such songs as "Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle Fly" and "You've Got To Stand For Something" with FIFI as the backdrop on stage. Additionally, as part of the tour event, for the first time, the public can purchase tickets for guided tours and a ride in the Boeing B-29 Superfortress. According to Brown, the CAF is unlike other aviation museums. "We start our engines, fly our airplanes and get loud, taking history to the public, rather than them coming to us. The Red, White & Loud Tour is an exciting opportunity for the CAF to continue doing what we do best, educating and reminding Americans of the cost of our freedom," Brown said.

About the FIFI, the CAF's B-29 Superfortress:
When the Commemorative Air Force (then Confederate Air Force) began searching for a B-29 for its collection of historical military aircraft, World War II had been over for 21 years. The Superfortress that helped end it had long since yielded to new generations of jet-powered strategic bombers and vanished. According to the United States Air Force, no B-29s remained in inventory, even at storage or disposal depots-until CAF discovered FIFI.
FIFI's complete restoration was a long and expensive project involving more than three years of fund-raising and hard work.
