The Sport Air Racing League: 2009 National Championship Results, 2010 Schedule Published

Taylor, Texas, December 16, 2009 - The Sport Air Racing League has concluded its third year of safe, enjoyable cross country air racing which is accessible to all pilots and all aircraft.

Congratulations to the 2009 National Champions!

SARL Gold - Jim Porter of Taylor, Texas, flying a Cirrus SR-20
SARL Silver - Stu Morse of Port Orange, Florida, flying a Grumman AA5B
SARL Bronze - Dave Adams of Villa Ridge, Missouri, flying a LongEZ

Championship positions are the result of point awards throughout the race season, and the 2009 results underlines the fact that you don't have to fly the fastest aircraft around to be a Champion!
