Indianapolis Airman Killed in Afghanistan from WIBC News by By Liz Thomas/Network Indiana
The U.S. military confirms a North Carolina-based senior airman from Indianapolis has been killed while fighting in Afghanistan. 21-year-old Ashton Goodman died Tuesday near Bagram Air Field from wounds she suffered from an improvised explosive device. Goodman was assigned to the 43rd Logistics Readiness Squadron at Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina.
