| A Legend Remembered: Jack Zianni 1924-2008 | |
|  Our condolences and sympathies are extended to the family of Jack Zianni, who passed away December 11, 2008. Jack attended the Gathering of Mustangs & Legends air show in September of 2007 and was recently honored by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Commemorative Air Force for his service during WWII.
After graduating from high school in 1942, Jack enlisted in the US Army-Air Force and served at the Wattisham Air Force Base in England as part of the 479th Fighter Group, where he was an Assistant Crew Chief on a P-51 Mustang.
