Indy Airport Deemed "StormReady" from Headlines - Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick
The National Weather Service has designated Indianapolis International Airport StormReady. It is the only airport in the country other than Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport with the appointment. Requirements for the honors include a 24-hour warning point and emergency operations, an internal system for monitoring local weather conditions and redundant means of receiving weather forecasts and warnings and to alert the public.
