THE patriots jet team JOINS THE SNOWBIRDS TO EXHILARATE sacramento fans

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (October 4, 2013) -- The California Capital Airshow (CCA), presented by Sacramento County, announces the addition of the Patriots Jet Team to its weekend lineup, joining the headlining Royal Canadian Air Force Jet Demonstration Team, the Snowbirds. The Airshow is excited to showcase two jet teams, with yet another thrilling performance at Mather Airport.

“The Patriots are a fantastic addition to our show, giving us the opportunity for even more high-flying action,” said Darcy Brewer, executive director of the California Capital Airshow. “We are pleased to have two jet teams performing, in addition to aerobatics, extreme sports, warbirds, wing-walking performances and so much more.”

Characterized by fast paced formation flying, six-ship diamond formation aerobatic maneuvers, and computerized red white and blue smoke system, the Patriots will rock the skies of Sacramento. Attendees can expect to see an exhilarating demonstration from the addition of this exciting performance. Fans should hold on to their seats because Sacramento is in store for a wild ride with new and returning performers.

“Every year we aim to bring our fans the best that the aviation industry has to offer,” continued Brewer.  “We have not only met our goal this year, but exceeded all expectations by showcasing jet teams and endless entertainment in the sky and on the ground for the entire weekend.”

The Airshow is an event for the whole family, providing young people with endless exhibits and interactive displays exploring the world of aviation and the many opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math related fields. CCA fans will be inspired as they watch the skies come alive, meet and greet the pilots and crew, and explore historic aircraft along the ramp. With the addition of the Patriots Jet Team, Sacramento is in store for an exhilarating and action-packed weekend.
