Able Flight Receives Grant from
Wounded Warrior Project

Able Flight pilot and wounded veteran Adam Kisielewski

Able Flight is honored to announce that we have been selected as a 2013 Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) grant recipient. The WWP Grants Program bridges gaps in care and services to post-9/11 injured service members by supporting organizations like us that provide high-quality, high-touch, unique programming in remote or underserved regions.

Through teamwork and collaboration, this grant will enhance our ability to support post-9/11 injured service members and foster healthy readjustment to civilian life through programmatic activities aimed at providing intensive flight training or aviation career training for wounded veterans. For more information, and a full list of WWP grant recipients, please visit: 2013 Grant Recipients

New Video on Able Flight Pilot

New Able Flight Pilot and wounded veteran Marine Lt. Andrew Kinard  is featured in our newest video now available on  the Galleries page on our website, and on Able Flight's new Vimeo video channel.

Andrew is a  2005 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy who passed on a slot to become a Marine aviator to lead troops in combat. He was severely injured by an IED in 2006, and this year was one of the five scholarship recipients who trained at our program at Purdue University.
