Ready, Set… Fly!

…or write, or draw, or snap pictures of the Women Of Aviation.

Hello,

Tomorrow (Monday) is the first day of the first ever annual Women Of Aviation Worldwide Week!

Who will win the Most Dedicated Woman Pilot and the Most Dedicated Female Flight Instructor titles? Who will win the Most Supportive Male pilot and the Most Supportive Male Flight Instructor titles? Who will win the Most Unusual Introductory Flight award? And, which airport will be crowned the 2011 Most Female Pilot Friendly Airport in the World?

We will know soon!

Who will write the best essay or poem? Who will create the best art? And, who will take the best photograph of the current Women Of Aviation or the ones discovering aviation during this special week?

Thanks to our 15 sponsors, over 120 prizes are awaiting generous pilots and daring girls and women including cash prizes for pilots introducing 5 or more girls or women to flying anywhere in the world between March 7 and March 13, 2011.

So, will you join pilots everywhere who are standing up for diversity in aviation? Will you introduce a girl or a woman to flying during Women Of Aviation Worldwide Week?

So, this coming week, pick a sunny day and go do what pilots do. FLY. But don't fly alone, take along a girl or a woman along and change her life!

Don’t forget that to win the prizes, you must file your flight report, enter your essay/poem, art, or photo in the contests before March 17, 2011, midnight Pacific Time at www.WomenOfAviationWeek.org.

Thank you for making an amazing difference.
