Just this year if you have seen the Johnny Depp movie " Public Enemies " this plane was in it. In 1965 the plane was in the Jerry Lewis film " The Family Jewels ". The plane was owned by Chuck LeMaster until 1963 . The Ford Motor company only made 199 of the planes . It is an all metal plane in which passengers rode indoors. The Tri-Motor ,dubbed "the Tin Goose" in its day often is credited as being the first successful passenger airliner in America.
