A Shout Out To The Volunteers

Air shows across this country happen because of the hard work and labor of an army of people who volunteer their time and effort. Each air show accepts the gracious donation of hundreds of man hours to do a myriad of jobs. Most of these jobs are not in the offices, or on the ramps close to the aircraft that fly in for these events - they are the less glorious jobs that range from setting up temporary fences to directing traffic.

I was inspired by the article below (at bottom of this post) in our May 1st posting. Surely, there are a number of volunteers at each venue that should get some special recognition. Learning about the volunteers gives the public insight into the soul of the event. How about sending us a write-up and we'll post it here on the Indy Transponder for the whole world to see. Your submissions are welcome!

!THANK YOU!
