Dear Indy, Since training began in 2007, Able Flight has awarded thirty six full flight training scholarships and seven aviation career training scholarships. This is possible because of your support of our scholarship program. Thanks! Able Flight Pilot Honored At AOPA Summit Lt. Andrew Kinard with Tom Haines (L)  and Mark Baker (R) of AOPA More than 1200 people rose as one for a standing ovation to honor Marine Lt. Andrew Kinard at the opening keynote of AOPA Summit in Ft. Worth, Texas. After earning his pilot certificate this summer, Andrew was selected as the first recipient of the AOPA/Able Flight Scholarship. On hand to pin AOPA wings on Andrew were new AOPA president Mark Baker and AOPA Pilot Magazine editor Tom Haines.  Landmark Aviation Donates To  Able Flight Training Fund L-R Jim Hopkins, Charles Stites, Dan Bucaro and Ted Hamilton For four years, Landmark Aviation has donated to Able Flight's scholarship fund based on a unique partnership with Jet Aviation, Inc. This year's $8,444.90 donation is a portion of fuel sales collected  when Jet Aviation managed aircraft are fueled at Landmark Aviation locations. Able Flight Executive Director Charles Stites, Landmark Aviation Vice President of Sales & Government Affairs Jim Hopkins, Landmark Executive Vice President of  Operations Ted Hamilton and Landmark Aviation President & CEO Dan Bucaro took part in the check presentation ceremony at NBAA.
