The Inaugural Liberty Air Show Celebration offers a day of fun for the entire family, without breaking the bank.
Black Hawk helicopters, Vintage WWII airplanes, death defying stunt pilots, skydivers, airplane and helicopter rides, the list goes on and on.
The Liberty Air Show Celebration is making its debut at Huntington Municipal Airport this 4th of July,
15 minutes south of Fort Wayne. From 11am -4pm, spectators will be treated to a non-stop plethora of aviation activities. Formation airplane flyovers, world class stunt pilots, airplane and helicopter rides , as well as a variety of aircraft on the ground for photo opportunities. Lutheran Air, the hospital’s MedEvac helicopter, and the Indiana State Police’s air unit will also be onsite. Food and refreshments will be served all day. Pizza, Bar-B-Que and hamburgers and hot dogs top the list. Coca-Cola will be on hand serving ice cold soft drinks and water to beat the heat, as well as a beer tent sponsored by and serving Warbird Beer. A free kid’s zone will offer face painting as well as Spongebob and Finding Nemo inflatable toys. The Army National Guard will be challenging attendees with their rock climbing wall and the Air National Guard will offer their F-16 flight simulator to all of the Top Gun Mavericks that feel “the need for speed”!
