Miles of Fun and Unique Aircraft at the 2013 California Capital Airshow

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – (April 9, 2013) - The eighth annual California Capital Airshow (www.californiacapitalairshow.com) (CCA) will be roaring across the skies of Sacramento this October 5-6, 2013. The event will offer spine-tingling performances and non-stop action throughout the weekend. Don’t miss the jets, world-class aerobatics, wingsuit flyers, warbirds, barnstorming, wing walking, and more -- nearly all never before seen in the Sacramento region!

But it’s not all about what’s soaring overhead…

The CCA is more than the thrills, chills and jaw-dropping excitement in the air but also an opportunity to educate and inspire tens of thousands of people each day with nine decades of aviation history on one of the largest airport ramps in the western United States, Mather Airport. The large variety of aircraft displayed each year provides an excellent opportunity to share remarkable examples of American innovation and endless stories of service, sacrifice, heroes, and legends.

What happens on the ground and those who participate in the Show with a display aircraft play an integral role in honoring the past and inspiring the future by sharing the history of the aircraft and chronicles of its restoration – up close and personal. Display aircraft provides a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to learn a little bit about the passions and the hard work that go into maintaining such a unique and rare aircraft.

Owners, pilots and crew of Special Interest Aircraft are invited to complete the California Capital Airshow display aircraft application form at the following link: http://www.californiacapitalairshow.com/contact-cca/special-interest-aircraft.

Each participating aircraft crew will receive Airshow admission, parking passes, 2013 commemorative poster, participation in the performers welcome reception and daily access to a special performer’s tent for lunch and refreshments each day.

Please join us in our quest to thrill and inspire fans while encouraging the youth of today to literally reach for the stars. Visit our website and complete the display aircraft form today! http://www.californiacapitalairshow.com/contact-cca/special-interest-aircraft
