Award-winning aerobatic stars to perform June 22nd and 23rd

...Sean D. Tucker and Michael Goulian added to star-studdedlineup

Dayton, Ohio – Sean D. Tucker and Michael Goulian join a spectacular lineup of some of the nation’s top aerobatic attractions at the Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger on June 22 nd and June 23rd, which is almost a month earlier than typical. The 39 th annual event will take off at the Dayton International Airport.

More than 80 million people have witnessed the hard-charging and highly-entertaining aerobatic maneuvers of air show legend, Sean D. Tucker. Spectators at the 2013 Vectren Dayton Air Show are sure to be impressed as Sean puts his Oracle Challenger bi-plane, a fire-breathing monster with over 400 horsepower through a rigorous performance. Dedicated to excellence, Sean practices three times daily with over 10,000 lifetime practices. Bestowed with a 2007 Living Legend in Aviation Award and a 2008 National Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinee, Sean D. Tucker sets the standard of aerobatic superiority with the passion and perfection he brings to every show.

Also a leader in aerobatic flying, acclaimed pilot Michael Goulian will deliver an edgy, aggressive, all-out performance choreographed to high tech music in his custom-built premier Goodyear Extra 330SC aircraft. Michael is the recipient of many of the air show industry's highest honors including the Art Scholl Memorial Award for Showmanship in 2006. He also represented the USA in the prestigious Red Bull Air Race World Championships and won the 2009 race in Budapest. Mike’s crisp style of flying will captivate Dayton show fans.

Over 14 acts will fly each day in the feature show, including: “FIFI”, the only flying B-29 in the world, will create a "Great Wall of Fire" atomic bombing reenactment; there will be both a MiG-17 and an F-86 Sabre flying demonstration; the AeroShell Formation Aerobatic Team will perform; a F4U Corsair and a A-4 Skyhawk demonstrations, Melissa Pemberton’s Edge 540 flying aerobatics will be on display; Skip Stewart will perform high energy aerobatics; dazzling skydiving by Team Fastrax, Jane Wicker Wing Walking will risk all; and the "School Time" jet-powered school bus will roar down the runway at 300+mph.

Beginning May 13, 2013, deep discount general admission tickets will also be available for purchase at over 100 Kroger stores in the Dayton-Cincinnati region.

The Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger is produced by the United States Air and Trade Show, Inc, a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit Ohio Corporation that relies on sponsorship and community support to offset the cost of producing the event. The Dayton/Montgomery Convention and Visitors Bureau estimates that the show has a $3.2 million annual economic impact on the region.
