Fly-In Announcement and Update

wingsofdreams_nl_banner

The Fly-In on July 7th is cancelled.
Wings of Dreams will suspend its Fly-In Breakfasts for the summer due to the impending transport of the Space Shuttle External Tank from the Kennedy Space Center and the pick-up of remaining components of the Space Shuttle Guidance and Navigation Simulator at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.
We look forward to resuming the Fly-In Breakfasts and "Fly Into History" programs with a unique line-up of guest speakers, offering eyewitness accounts and a glimpse into important chapters of American aviation and World War II history. These stories need to be preserved and never forgotten.
We want to thank our Normandy Campaign WWII veterans for sharing their stories during our June Fly-In Breakfast.
  • Lionel Capoldo - Seamen First Class, LC7 Gunboat, U.S. Navy
  • Frank Towers -1LT 30th Infantry Division, U.S. Army
  • William Scruggs - B-17 Pilot, 8th Air Force, Army Air Corps
  • Rufus Broadaway, M.D. - 1 Lt. 82nd Airborne, 507th PIR
We also want to recognize the June 7 Fly-In Breakfast sponsors and supporters, who generously provided cash and in-kind donations, support and services to help make this event possible.
