Wright Bros. Aero Friday Night Live! to kick off Air Show weekend

Dayton, Ohio – The Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger announced today Wright Bros. Aero will again host a party Friday, July 6th at Hangar “A” at the Dayton International Airport to welcome performers and crews to Dayton.  The free event is open to the public and will feature live music by the Bad Habits - Eyedocs of Rock.  There will also be a special preview of the weekend’s air show including demonstrations by the Sea Harrier, Michael Goulian and the Misty Blues.  Also appearing will be a special Night Pyro Performance by the Gene Soucy.

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and run until 11 p.m.  Ice cold beverages will be on tap and delicious LaRosa’s pizza will be available by the slice.  To get there, simply turn left on to McCauley Drive off North Dixie Drive and proceed to the entry gate at the end of McCauley.  Parking is available in lots or field areas near the hangars and is also free.  The address is 3700 McCauley Drive, Vandalia, Ohio.  For a detailed map, go to the Air Show web site www.daytonairshow.com and click the Friday Night Live! button on the home page.

Don’t miss out on this fun-filled night to meet the crews and performers that make the Vectren Dayton Air Show Dayton’s premier summer event.  The night pyro performance by Gene Soucy is exclusive to Wright Bros. Aero Friday Night Live! and will be a must see for show fans.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline the 38th annual Vectren Dayton Air Show Presented by Kroger on July 7th and 8th.  In addition to the acts performing at Wright Bros Aero Friday Night Live!, the show will also feature Tora Tora Tora, the US Air Force Heritage Flight, the A-4 Skyhawk, a US Coast Guard SAR Demo, a Tuskegee T-6 and a tribute to the J-3 Piper Cub.
