When , tongue-in-cheek, I scribbled that item on the ‘gliding Lancaster’, I had no idea that anyone would actually take it seriously; but quite a number did! The Lancaster pictured belongs to the “Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum” at Hamilton, Ontario. It was being flown, on September 20th, 2008, at an airshow called “Vintage Wings of Canada” at Gatineau Airport, Quebec. I have checked out their website and it is most interesting with an extensive range of aircraft and much information. Well worth a look for you WWII buffs ...
