New Doolittle Raider Doc on PBS

Aviation on PBS
"The Restorers - They Were All Volunteers"
Western Reserve PBS will be airing the new documentary from Hemlock Films titled The Restorers - They Were All Volunteers.  The film will air in NE Ohio on channels 45/49, this Sunday, February 12th at 7:00 pm (check local listings).
In 2010 an extraordinary event took place.  Each year the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders from WWII have a reunion to remember their mission, their comrades, and their leader Gen. Jimmy Doolittle.  For their 68th reunion, seventeen B-25 bomber crews gathered to honor the Doolittle Raiders.  This gathering is the feature of The Restorers - They Were All Volunteers, putting you at the event, in the cockpit of the B-25 and sitting down with the Raiders themselves.
The Restorers is a new series, designed to re-define aviation television.  This episode stands out, as it follows a B-25 Mitchell bomber from Minnesota as her crew endeavors to participate in the Doolittle Raiders Reunion / B-25 Gathering in Dayton, Ohio. If you missed the event, now you can experience the sights, the sounds and the history.
