Atlantic City's Airshow ready to take flight with early preview Tuesday - Press of Atlantic City  | The skies will be filled with aircraft over Atlantic City today as planes practice for Wednesday’s 11th annual air show. The air show is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, with practice at the same time today. Those events, along with Monday’s third annual Armed Services parade, are among the early summer events organizers are hoping will bring tourists to the resorts earlier in the tourist season....

WWII veterans tour B-17 in Olive Branch - Memphis Commercial Appeal  | The B-17 Flying Fortress "Memphis Belle" landed at the Olive Branch Airport on Monday to promote the foundation’s 2013 “Salute to Veterans” ceremonies Friday and Saturday with public ground tours and flights to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Belle’s last mission. Jep Williamson, a flight engineer during World War II, said, “I counted the number of hits we took after our first mission, it was 42.
